Do they play on the same line?
At least with Coburn back Streit and McDonald shouldn't be switching sides all night long. I haven't seen much media comment on it, but it was bizarre, even for Berube. - Feanor
I find it strange that Berube is so quick to move B Schenn from the top line, but he'll keep combinations like Amac-Coburn and Schenn-VL-Simmonds together even if they aren't working. |

I actually like Coburn. He and Amac haven't shown any chemistry together though. - PhillySportsGuy
You are hereby forbidden to like Coburn as this board's chapter of the ACGMA* has identified Coburn as totally worthless.

The top line wasn't working, so he switched Schenn with Raffl. And Raffl's puck pressure and pursuit helped the top line improve. They were getting throttled in the early season at 5 on 5. And Brayden Schenn since he has been removed from the top line, has responded with two very strong games. How many game exactly have MacDonald and Coburn played together as a pair this season? Same with the Schenn/Lecavalier/Simmonds line?
So let's ignore the improved results of the changes, and just find it strange. |

Just wait til game time. He'll be in rare form. Bile and vitriol shall spew forth in Cobie's general direction. |

I think tonight's game could determine what changes might be made for tomorrow's game. Example, if one of Luke Schenn or Michael Del Zotto are really that bad, one could get sad for a rested Nick Shultz. We might even see Akeson tomorrow, even if we haven't today. |

I'm not even saying Nick Schultz is any kind of answer on the blue line.
I just think he might be better than Luke Schenn. |

The 4th line has certainly not been the cause of our distress so far this season. |

I guess I am one of the few fans who feel that this team is no better or even a little worse than last year. Playing the exact same way by either falling behind early and then desperately trying to rally or jumping out to a lead and then take the rest of the night off. This game is no test for the Flyers. A test is to see if they are ready to play against the NHL's elite and be successful and this team is not. I hope this team somehow proves me wrong but as a team they are terrible defensively and I am not just talking our 6 on the back end. The forwards contribute nothing to help our d-men who are not all that good themselves. Both goalies have been hung out to dry and every game would have been a blow out if it were not for them. - Daveflyers36
