Question...
I know that Hartnell deal will look bad in a few years from now but would it matter if we won a Cup within the next couple years? Does the Umberger contract not look bad right now? |

I've noticed Mason has been really aggressive on shots going wide this year.. I'm not sure why he's doing it but I noticed it in the preseason and knew it was only a matter of time before it burned him. - Roytastic
if his D aren't going to get the pucks in the corners and behind the net someone might as well try too |

Raffl needs an offensive laxative. The guy is the definition of goal constipation. |

Let me get this straight... Putting the two slowest footed, one definitely slowest witted, dman together is a good idea? - JoeRussomanno
Hell no. Just pointing out how bad they both are and apparantly not doing a very good job of it. |

Margin between Hartsy and Umberger isn't big enough to make this team any good, much less Cup-worthy. |

Could we even trade Luke for TVR? - Just5
If TVR is JVR's grandmother it might be possible |

We should trade the schenns and get one - JoeRussomanno
At least Schenn has value to bring in a top line player |

Flyers are pathetic in the D zone, especially on D. How exactly would Hartnell improve that? |

Hartnell is not the missing piece. Missing link, maybe, but not the missing piece.
There is no one move that can guarantee a cup. Pittsburgh has Malkin, Crosby, and Letang and they've only won it once. |

If you say so. How many Cup Finals...or playoff games has Umberger seen? |

doesn't really matter who we trade for to play on the top line with the D/defensive effort/smarts being rolled out there
I'm liking the mcdavid on the top line plan more and more each day |
