I collect all related Marvel movies and rare comics. On Black Friday I intend to buy the first season of Agents of SHIELD.
Actually I managed to score the Infinity Gauntlet issue 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 but sadly still in reach of issue 6. - SuperSchennBros

Agreed. Still a boarderline snoozefest for a lot of eps tho. - hereticpride
I just accept it as a bridge gap between each Avengers movie. I'm convinced Agent Colson is a life model decoy and the real Colson died during the Avengers movie. |

1991, correct.
I'm actually worried that too much is being placed into the Avengers during the lead up to Avengers three. The Superhero group was basically a bunch of pawns in that story. It's more of a Adam Warlock, Thanos, Silver Surfer and Dr Strange story. |

it is upsetting to think that, for as much as i love the guy personally, fleury counts for 5 million when the hawks could realistically part with crawford in a year and probably ride this guy and at least get average to above average tending. cap savings like that are pure gold to a team with a top heavy contract structure.
admittedly, i missed most of the first. but in that second, a few of the forwards looked pretty good. the flyers defense is still just such a detriment in so many ways. again, not only are they rough in their own end, but i think they tend to bring down the forwards.
and you and i both know that yeah the pens are salivating thinking about how much theyre just going to run and gun (and im sure for great spurts theyll be able to do just that) but it will ultimately be their undoing somehow. the flyers do have a good deal of talent. a bad mix, and they seem to be disengaged a lot, which they dont have the guns to consistently give that kind of effort and come away with wins. but for some reason against the pens, they always come out with drive and determination. |

Why is everyone upset?
Chicago is the 2nd best team in the NHL. Was everyone really expecting a W tonight? - KGBflyers10
I was.
I expect a win every night and I know that's unrealistic.
But I also expect effort. I expect a well prepared team. I expect a sound game plan. I expect a well designed breakout. I expect good coverage while in the defensive zone as well as an intelligent and effective offensive attack. I expect solid play in goal.
I really don't think that's too much to ask for. When I don't see that, it's disappointing, and I'm getting really tired of being disappointed.
* sigh *

I think we just have to hope Hextall realizes this team has no shot as it's constructed. That's why he took Umberger to get 2 years less on a bad contract + a 4th rounder for Hartnell. Don't want the young stud defenders coming up with the seasoned current young guns on offense saddled with bad contracts. No idea how they get Lecav off the books by then though. |

yep.
theyll outshoot the flyers probably something along the lines of 42 to 28, and lose 4 3. |

Hawks have taken their foot off the accelerator. Flyers were being outshot 14-1 early in the game. |

If Hexy can make fair trades and it involves moving youth for youth that actually fits... I hope he makes those deals. |

Hextall realizes, that's why he wanted lottery protection on his 2015 1st rounder when he was trying to acquire the 1st overall pick from this past draft in Philly.
He's trying to keep the team competitive this season while not shedding any of the pieces he feels will be vital moving ahead. |

I think that's why they need to get him involved more on offense. he won't develop into a scorer when he's always put into defensive situations. |

the only thing wrong with it is they waited until the game was well into the 3rd period before dishing one out. |

yeah. like i said i didnt see the first so i probably have a skewed view. i know its no consolation really, but the hawks are a very tough team. with the talent discrepancy, nothing short of an A performance is going to make it a game.
from that description, it sounds like that wasnt what was brought. outshot 14 to 1 should never occur, dysfunctional defense or not. |

Ok so let's break this down.
Legal hit; 2 minutes for hitting too hard: check
Opponent comes in to fight the guy who throws the hit, then the guy that throws the hit is horse-collared to the ice by an official: check
The same opponent looking for a fight turns to a different guy who certainly would fight him, and they're separated and escorted to their respective benches: check
Hawks score on the PP: check
Yup. It checks out. |
