Yeah, definitely.

I have a lot of feels about this one. One thing that stands out to me is, Giroux and Voracek look good offensively and our most dangerous but I feel like they're slowly down by Raffl. It's not about no longer having Hartnell as it is never replacing him.

yeah. i understand the debate and that a lot of people will probably disagree, and i know it doesnt really mean much on paper, but from a purely talent based evaluation i still see them as a team that should be competing for the playoffs.

and i know two players is no small ho hum transaction scoop off the waiver wire, but they really only seem to be that away from being a good bit better.

It's apparent our D isn't very good. We've been average at best since losing Pronger and have gotten worse year by year but does the top line look dangerous to you right now? I don't. At least not against these guys. Even with some pressure.

Losing Timonen was the real killer. They just weren't equipped to replace him. He was their best defenseman last year
