No, it doesn't. I don't really want to see him traded. Unless they absolutely screw the team that he gets traded to, it's not worth it IMO. I especially don't want to trade him within the division. That just seems like a really bad idea.

I would say yes its wrong to assume Eriksson. They have over 3 mil in space, and I would think Boston would want to keep him since he has another year left.

I had no problem with trading the guys that were pending UFAs. And I know that at some point other guys will need to be traded due to having had so many picks and the limitation on the number of contracts a team can give out. But right now, I'm done with trading guys just for picks. If you're going to trade some guys, the return better be worth it. A draft pick isn't enough anymore. They need to upgrade the players they're trading without hurting themselves in another area.

I have no problem with them trading Myers or another defensman. I just don't want them trading away are young forwards. Only guys that I want traded are stewart, coho, and stafford.

I think we get a young top 3 nhl forward for myers.

We also have two other first round picks that could be added in a trade to get a top 3 guy. We cant just us all are draft picks and hope they turn out. obviously we keep are 1st round pick because that will hopefully get us one of the top two.

You have to be careful trading away prospects. I watched the Nashville/ Arizona last night and filip forsberg is the real deal. Washington dumped him to quickly pick up a player like erat. Proves that you shouldnt make a trade just to make a trade. Unless your on the side getting the steal(nashville) the best move is usually no move

UFA's are a different story but dont give up on zads or myers yet
