After the draft he said he wouldn't have moved him for the 10th pick let alone the 24th pick, when it was rumored Vancouver offered that pick to the Sabres for Myers.

Unless it's for a great prospect like Mantha + I don't see anyway he's moved.

We have too many good prospects to begin with. We need bonafide top 6 talent

I just think when there is smoke there is fire especially when Bob MacKenzie and Darren Dregger are reporting rumors/inside info weekly and extensively, not Ek or TFP, but those insiders and his name has been out there since at least the summer.

I don't look to advanced stats to tell whether a player is good or not, but it's clear he is far and away the best on this team right now. His numbers despite this team are pretty good

Trouble is i dont see them parting with mantha and judging by the article, were going in a different direction now. I guess i just want to see goals scored and im a little desperate to see some offensive talent come our way. I like the way myers plays but you have to admit we have many almost nhl-nhl ready prospects compared to offense. Risto, Zad, Pysyk, McCabe, ruhwedel and gorges to teach. Thats a good squad if you sacrifice one guy to bring in a few offensive guys.

I would be perfectly fine with keeping him of course.

Good contract for the minutes he plays though. No guarantee any of those prospects could fill his skates at close to 30 minutes per game. I forsee some of those kids taking the place of weber, mezaros, beniot, etc...

I think by all reports there is no chance the Sabres get Mantha for Myers unless the two teams work out a bigger deal with more pieces in play.

I don't doubt teams are talking to us. However I doubt Murray is the one pursuing.

It wouldn't make sense for Murray to rush to trade for a prospect like Larkin who is 2 year away from playing in the league at minimum.

IMO Myers will be here for a while. If Ristolainen starts to show he's a true #1, and McCabe and Zadarov look like top 4 guys then I can see him moved

I don't see anyway Detroit gets Myers without Mantha or Nyquist being involved.

If Myers were truly available, 10 teams would be lining up to trade a top prospect for him. He's an immediate upgrade on any teams top 4 and he's young

There have been reports that Detroit, Anaheim, Colorado, Philly have interest in Myers. Vancouver, as you stated, made an offer at the draft. There have been reports that TM has quietly put Myers name on the trade market. Those teams don't make offers unless TM lets them know he is open to offers. I don't think TM is just sitting back taking calls, I think he initially started the process of putting him on the market and letting teams know he was available for the right price. I don't think he'll rush it but weren't there Myers rumors at the deadline last year? TM has already taken his time may take until the deadline maybe the draft but I bet he doesn't start the season with McEeichel next year.

now that i think deeper into it and you bring some of this up might be better to hold off but that doesnt mean im going to be mad if that trade does take place. i do love that he is eating up so many minutes and hes been our teams best player

I had speculated on the NTC Earlier today. It may be one thing that TM may not like due to it handcuffing him. But if his play bounces back, as it appears to be, it shouldn't be a problem.
