Different goalie and the same crappy D system. Team thinking offense first as always. - ses111
Kessel toasted Halak twice in the exact same spot. Jaro not good with his angles tonight.
Screw Cappys intermission speech. Send in Shogan and have her ShowHerGuns & promise motorboating for who ever scores the game winner. |

Conacher should be gone as soon as possible! Bring up Lee before this becomes a 10 game losing streak. |

The teams offensive talent overshadowed the glaring deficiencies in systematic defensive play over the first four games. It should be more evident than ever that Cappy's system is a fail and this teams successes tend to be in spite of him. |

Yet the new England fraternity will continue. Cronin, capuano, and good to have thompson who wasnt good enough to be our assistant coach and pk expert coaching our kids in bdgpt. 30th pk in the league six games in. Horrible defense. Same story. Beginning to look an awful lot like what was obvious to everyone else that watches this team went right over Snows head. Yep. Six games in you can come to that when its the same exact problems. Maybe Capuano's "tweaks" to his defenive system just werent enough? |

Did Crappy call a timeout after their 4th goal?
How does Clutterbuck miss off Nielsen's pass? Could have made this interesting at least. I wish to God we had an NHL coach. |

Amen Keaner! The lousy D system and not having Lee on the top line and being afraid to drop a guy like Cmac all adds up. It's all well and good the talent has improved. Lousy decisions are still being made. |

How about a timeout now, and pulling the goalie?
Of course not. |

Doesn't matter if it's kicked or not...another fine example of crease clearing and shutting down the play. |

the more things change.............................the more they stay the same. piss poor coaching and line matching.....and awefull roster decisions....along with horrific goaltending. As much as it hurts to admit it, thats the Islander way. Our coach is a waste of oxygen and as soon as new ownership ditches him and snow, we will round the corner. |

What? He lays a dirty hit and Polak (who isn't a dirty player..) stands up for his team mate, where's the problem with that? |

See how Kulemin is getting pucks out of the corners and making space for JT and KO? This is why you call up Lee and play him on the top line. Better hands than Kulemin and same results along the boards and in front of the net. Conacher isn't working out. |

It's a joke Lee did not start on that first line in game 1. Conacher needs to be on the 4th line if anything. Isles putting more importance on mediocre vets over top prospects continues every year. |

You want to give them the benefit of the doubt but when common sense is telling you something is not right whether it be line combos or otherwise it seems common sense will prevail over capuano every time. |
