Tell me there was giant-sized chicken fried steak at the reception... I need to hear it. |

i dont understand how inefficient these people can be. youd think they were all lawyers in a past life or something. - stayinthefnnet
well that blows. just like our pathetic (frank)ing hockey team. |

So we're keeping guys in the ahl to protect them from berube... Another thing that doesnt really get pointed out is: this team being "patient" is wasting the prime years of its current nucleus. Something needs to be dne now, sorry promote some of these prospects, see what they can do, move some of the fool's gold, get this team back i to contention. - JoeRussomanno
Oh, no thank you. |

No one in the NHL plays 30 minutes per night until the playoffs. Maybe only Suter gets close and theyd like to cut his mintues. |

So do the people at the reception who have to sit through the introductions.

I think you know the point I'm trying to make. If this team still had Pronger, a legit #1 unit. Everyone else would fall into their natural place and this defense would be fine. |

They should've grabbed themselves a couple of drinks before they sat down. |

Maybe. Carle, Timonen and Coburn were pretty good in their own right. A healthy #1 would make this team a contender, but I still think they'd be weak after him. They really need a #1 and a #2. |

Even a legit #1 and another 2/3 like Coburn would be huge |

If Pronger was still playing for us at 40, he'd be skating like Fred G. Sanford. |

Yeah. Pronger was obviously great, but having Timonen-Coburn on the second pair was really strong too. |

I know. Never said it would be easy. Coburn is a nice player, but if they want to truly contend for a Cup, he should be their 3rd best defenseman. |

As long as you keep the Bachelor/bachelorette parties simple. Those things can get expensive for some people. My brother in law goes away to Mexico or Vegas or New Orleans for all his friends. I think that's a bit absurd. |
