So when you go to the door trick or treating, as soon as it opens you'll backpedal down the driveway and give up the front porch too easily? - Jsaquella

Well the way this season is going we'll have our next franchise center in 8 months - BiggE
I don't think they are worse than Buffalo, Edmonton or Carolina to be honest. Bottom 10 is a possibility. |

They should make Luke play with that blue bib and hat on. |

Nah. Schenn isn't really soft. Immobile, brain dead, yes. Soft, nope. |

I would say bottom 8 is a lock if things don't start to gel.
Teams like the Isles, Panthers and Flames all look like they're finally getting their games together. |

I see that as fine. Most cup champions have a defense that's more than fine though. - PhillySportsGuy
Look at LA's defense. Take away Doughty and it becomes far less ordinary. Is Jake Muzzin a legitimate top pairing defenseman? Or is it that it can work playing with Doughty, and with the team defense and puck support that LA plays with? Put Jake Muzzin on the Flyers right now, and he'd be just another one of the bums. |

When Carolina gets both Staals and Skinner back they could be worse than Carolina. |

Naturally. Holmgren's house started giving out bag fulls days earlier. Something about not wanting to miss out. |

Just wait until Ghost, Hagg, Morin, Alt, and Sanheim become Erik Karlsson, Ryan Suter, Shea Weber, Mark Alt, and Ryan McDonagh in 2 months. |

Except that Mark Alt is code for Oliver Lauridsen. |

I really liked Lauridsen in his time up here. I know Bill isn't a huge fan himself but I like the kid. |

Id rather see young kids who have an uncertainty to the future than veterans who are on the decline or wont be more than what they are now.
Which is not good enough. |
