the good news for Conacher sucking is that when Grabner comes back Conacher will be next to get benched.
but 1G in 6 games when you linemate have 8 to 10 points respectively is unacceptable. if they going to play Lee with Strome/Nelson, then put Conacher in 3rd line and put Kumelin or Bailey in for tonight on top line. |

on IPB, Capuano discusses how he determines ice time and why he plays his 4th so much.
So if how a player plays determine icetime then why does ryan strome play 11mins to C-Mac 10min. Strome has 6points on season and is +3 Rating.
where is the rationale. Btw, looks like Lee going to play with Nelson and Strome.
Im ok with that. But for all we know Lee will have to study from press box and Boulton will be on 2nd line tonight. - Spartiarti

While I agree that Conacher is not the answer on the 1st line in fairness to him he is not on the 1st pp unit with those guys and I'm curious how many of those points out of JT & KO are on the PP? |

5 of Tavares' 10pts are PP, with two of them being goals
5 of Okposo's 8pts are PP, with one of them being a goal |

Well he has 2 goals in 6 games. That's would put him on pace for 25-27 goals in season. And that playing on 3rd line.
What are you waiting for ? - Spartiarti

Did you here new owners say 5th RING. lol. No rings in hockey new guys. Also they ask Charles wang to stay to teach him.
But reading on in new day article I have to agree wang was proud owner and he did care. And snows plan would have never have worked to take advantage of all those teams over cap of we just went out and spend for sake of spending.
Either way. Let's get a big win tonight and get back on track.
Lets hope cappy doesn't bury lee on last line - Spartiarti

Capuano told the media that "Boychuk isn't going to be happy that he's scratched tonight" with a grin.

did you really think he wouldn't? I can assure you that Bailey would get picked up.
Also, wasn't some on the board worried that Poulin would get picked up. LOL. |

It was a joke - Vukota
It wasn't you. and it was most certainly was not said jokingly . I don't want to go through the blogs. I remember clearly, b/c people thought bailey overpaid at 3MM a year that no way someone would take him.
go ahead vukota, you can say it. so far you don't have anything bad to say about Bailey. |

I think the players and coaches do get rings? - Dedshark
They do as well as the TV crew Producers, directors and on air guys. Ask Howie to show you his Stanley Cup ring from 94 |

I don't know if it's the same for hockey, but I know a family friend's daughter worked for the Yankees doing as a sales rep for the luxury suites and received a ring in '09. It wasn't the same ritzy ring the players and coaches got...but they got one. |

I was surprised he was not claimed... worried is aggressive. He is a 24 year old kid with an over .90% save percentage on a horrific defensive team with 50 games in NHL. I figured someone would take a shot on him being better with a real defense in front of him ... as a backup. only makes about 500k too. |
