Dumb MSM guys. "EDM has to trade somebody for the sake of trading!!"

Oilers can turn it around Islanders-style, maybe they will target 2 defensemen instead? Amazing how Leddy and Boychuk are making a difference in NY

Emelin and a fist full of poop. The Coilers think need defencemen like Emelin amd with Tinner coming up Montreal can afford to let him go. Only problem is he has a NMC, but those things can be waived. Although Edmonton doesn't have the best track record with Russians. Maybe if Eakins gets fired Emelin will do it.

They certainly are, they were gonna be better anyway, but those were magnificent additions.

Seems kinda strange that the Habs would want a smallish scoring winger.

Im a hab fan. I would love to have eberle. Who wouldnt.. He can score he can pass. Hes fast decent size. I dont kno why people are saying hes small. Hes 6feet weight 185 hes only an inch shorter theb Taylor Hall. He could be a huge fit for Montreal but in the real world its going to take a fortune to get him and I just dont see how Montreal can offer a package without gutting the future or messing with the current line. Gallagher wont get you eberle and would be a huge loss to habs. Galchenyuk wont be included coaches and gm love him. Subban is too expensive. Patch is homegeown 40 goal scorer doesnt make sense to eliminate one scorer to add a another lesser scorer. Price out of the question. The rest are grinders and role players that wont get you anything.

The minors are loaded with second liners and 3liners but no real star. So dreaming of eberle in a real Canadian market is going to be a dream and just that a dream. Oilers need patience they have a great core group and a solid group of dman in the minors coming up fast. The biggest mistake they did was start the clocks on eberle hall and nudge far to early.

almost certain it involves pleks, cuz galchenyuks ready to play centre, and maybe involving beaulieu, or tokarski and plus a high draft pick. then maybe marty might makes his way in the picture if tokarski goes. just a guess almost positive it wont be eberle leaving Edmonton tho

EK is speaking in codes and Eberle is actually Yakupov, because if Edmonton trades Eberle they are crazy.

Anyways, if I was offering a trade for Eberle or Yakupov , It would have to include a center so I'm guessing Eller or DD. Plus prob a good D prospect like Patryn or Nygren. Plus some package of picks (2nd and 3rd) and if I was montreal I would be trying to throw Moen or Bourque in there lol.

I can't see edmonton taking that but the Habs are winning and I don't see a lot of guys I would want to trade out right now. Interesting that we see the E4 next to it. Usually means there's something solid he's heard. I know a lot of ppl will disagree with that but we haven't seen too many E4's lately.

I'm hearing Toronto is offering the same package Carolina turned down for Staal. Kadri, JVR, Gardiner, Reilly, Nylander, Bernier, Percy, Bozak and 2 first rounders. They may have to add more pieces for Eberle.

In all Honesty, why would Carolina want to become the Maple Leafs?

Because their other option would be remaining Carolina?

Lol

Continuing my previous post: I just checked out Edm on capgeek and I think the Habs would also be including a goaltender so either Fucale or Hawky.

I was actually thinking the same thing. They could throw in Tokarski if Edmonton tossed Fasth or Scribbles back.

If Eberle and Scrivens/Fasth are going for Tokarski+, that + is Pacioretty or Galchenyuk
