While I agree that Schenn alone won't get the top defenseman that the team needs, I disagree with stating that he's not worth all that much right now. He's a good young player. - MJL

I've had season tickets since 2009, and I'm pretty pissed off at how the Flyers are treating us. First, they took off the ticket marketplace, the easiest and safest way to move extra tickets. Then they took away the ticket share where you can share a handful of tickets. Now, they're offering seating at below STH price. I should just cancel my season tix and buy individual tickets from now on, but I love my seat. - jmatchett383
I'm not a huge fan of the team but the ticket agents, if you have the right one are pretty good to you.
I had tickets for 26 yrs and they pretty much priced me out of the place. The year after I left they started pricing by row. That blows. I ate so many seats my last season that I wanted to throw up. I couldn't give them away. I like it better on the outside to be honest. I just put away a certain amount and we go to what we can. |

This sounds like a fun discussion. I'd be interested to see where people rank the Flyers top 10 forwards in terms of their wristers. Cuz I feel like Matt Read and Coots make a good case for the top five. - mcefalu
Read's definitely up there... Bellemare and Raffl, too. Voracek and Coots are more accurate than powerful, from what I've seen. Simmer's got a decent one... as does Umberger. |

why? - wilsonecho91
It counts against the cap in other sports. Kings can release him if they need the slot.
I feel no remorse for them and would be angry if the league created some rule so teams could keep their wife beaters, but not have to carry their cap hit or contract. |

Under these standards, I have no idea how Varly is playing right now. - Tomahawk
Because the Avs are pussies and care more about winning than doing the right thing.
49ers continue to play Ray McDonald even though hes being investigated for domestic violence. All other players being investigated for domestic violence have either been suspended by their teams or released. |

Why should the team be punished in any way, because Voynov decided to break the law and abuse a woman? |

Lawsuits and arrest charges are two different things. It stinks and he wouldn't be playing if it was up to me because circumstantially he seems like a crumb but they can't suspend guys over every lawsuit that comes along. |

I don't really get trading him. If they don't think he can ever become a staple in the top 6 then ok...trade him. I think they're better off served getting another full year of analysis in on him. I don't think he's worth all that much right now, and he won't fetch the dman we need
If he can bring back a young LW that they believe is a better fit, then by all means - Just5
Sure, I don't necessarily think trading him right now is the best option, but I really believe Laughton is going to be more than just a bottom six center and if he keeps playing like he has this year in the AHL, he might be ready as soon as next year, which will just add to the already crowded center position for the team.
Hopefully Schenn really picks up his play and adapts to the LW spot or at least adds enough value to be used in a trade. |

It's not like the league to have a rule and then go back on that rule, is it?

if not then they might consider trading #14 for a good Dman |

I hope we see more of Raffl's shot this year and I think he'll get his chances. I agree re: Bellemare and Voracek. However, I think Coots wrist shot might be the most underrated. There are a few clips of his shot on youtube and some of them are straight up bullets. He doesn't shoot it like that all the time, but he's capable. |

That's fine. Why should the league help them though? They have the means to fix their current problem. They just don't want to do it. |
