Ummm... Not really.
How long will that POS Moore's suspension be?
Is Kreider the biggest punk in the NHL? Questions to be pondered. - PLindbergh31
Moore will be suspended 6-10 games.
No, Kreider is not the biggest punk in the NHL. |

TSN's Bob McKenzie reports that Lundqvist has refused to waive his NTC to come to Philadelphia. - rangerdanger94
Ok, I guess we can settle for a package of Staal, Duclair, and McDonagh |

We already have a better version of Rinaldo with Glass. - rangerdanger94
Didn't the Rangers once sign a known racist who was suspended for using a racial slur? They don't deserve Duclair. |

I really wonder if real trade-calls ever devolve into that kind of stuff. - Tomahawk
Just in case someone presses the wrong button or something. Like when the Phillies accidentally traded top prospect Domingo Santana. He was supposed to be taken off the list of players for the Astros to choose as their player-to-be-named-later but they forgot to take him off so that's who the Astros picked. |

We're all very aware of our defensive shortcomings. That's not really news.
Imagine your defense if your top 3 defenseman all were simultaneously injured |

Yea but I mean, your defense is still bad even if your top 3 defensemen are healthy. |

The worst is when teams (and I'm glad the Flyers have done that recently) take plugs in the 1st-round hoping that they'll grow out of being goons/idiots: guy like Eager, Jessiman, Beach, Kassian, McArdle, Biggs. I was doing dances when Nick Ritchie and Tom Wilson went before the Flyers could consider them. - Tomahawk
I don't understand why power forwards seem to be the holy grail of so many teams. I feel like more teams would rather win a cup with a team like Boston than a team like Detroit. |

This is irrelevant. Thats like saying Carter and Richards would have (2) cups in Philly.... Would not have happened. They were complimentary pieces to an already strong team with a franchise goaltender ready to make a run. - GOA88

How can you tell? We haven't had all 3 of them healthy for one game this year. Luckily, we're addressing that for the future via the draft, and not trading away multiple high draft picks for aging, whining prima donnas who cry and demand trades when their coaches don't put them on Olympic rosters. |

Turns out all the oilers needed to turn it around was to play some eastern conference teams |

If he wanted to be a Ranger so badly, why didn't he sign with them back in 2011 when he was a UFA? |

I don't know. I don't care either, because he's a Ranger now and is still a great player and led our forwards in points on our SCF run last year. |

Second place, well done. Hang that Prince of Wales Trophy proudly, for it is the greatest accomplishment a second-place team can have...well, tied for second greatest, anyway. |

The Flyers really need to cut down on their shots against. In addition, they need to be spending more time in the offensive zone. I really wish the players would quit the spin and no look passes. Those passes are low percentage deals, and with the "highly skilled puck handlers" on our team, we just shouldn't be attempting those fancy moves. Keep it basic guys, and don't turn the puck over. Press the Kings in their own end, and make them work for every inch of the ice. Oh, and one other thing; a full game effort, and stop this 1-2 periods of play laziness. If we can do all those things mentioned above, we should be able to win the game...lol. Which Flyers team will show up? Well, it's almost Halloween, so your guess is as good as mine.
Thanks. |
