People still choose to do it even knowing what it does to their body. The commercials don't seem to phase any of those people one bit.

That's just it, if a kid wants to smoke, they don't care what the TV is telling them. I grew up in a family of nothing but smokers. It's a personal decision that people make and a commercial on tv isn't going to be the deciding factor for them.
