It's not pure opinion. Rather just arbitrarily choosing whatever I want to choose to determine if a team is at .500 or not. I'm using the official NHL standings to do so. - MJL
The standings also include numbers that indicate wins and two types of losses. Opinions are often informed by facts, but it's still only opinion. |

He had a 32 oz Corona and a Modelo Chelada 24 (which is disgusting by the way, even with hot sauce). |

So the Flyers current streak is equivalent to taking two Viagra's, downing a six-pack of 8 hour energies, and then walking around in sweatpants (sans underwear) in a shopping mall? - jak521
I'll have to check the math. |

And if you look at the standings, you'll see that the Rangers have more wins then the Flyers do, but yet they are in the 5th spot, and the Flyers are in the 4th. It's not an opinion, it's the official standings of the NHL. Unless you feel that the standings the NHL puts out are just the NHL's opinion. Then my statement that the Flyers are an above .500 team is not an opinion, but it is indeed a fact. |

It's not an opinion. You're wrong. No different then stating that the Islanders are in first place in the Met. It's not an opinion, it's a fact. Based on the NHL's point system, the Flyers are an above .500 team. That's not an opinion, that is a fact. By using the NHL official standings, I'm taking opinion out of it, and stating fact. |

That's an well-informed opinion. Please discuss only the facts. |

Are you a semanticist? Answer ONE question with a simple yes or no.
Have the Flyers won more games than they have lost? |

It's still an opinion that this is the authoritative definition of a .500 team. |

emery should be the starter because mason is broken and he sucks and this team is .500 but they're not and luke schenn is a great defenseman even though hes bad at being a defenseman and ghost should be a top6 defender even though hes been overmatched constantly and va de velde sucks but hes played well and we need to trade all of our defensemen even though theyve played well and its all coburns fault go eagles and we need to trade brayden schenn because hes not any better than laughton because i say so and we are the flyers. fact. |
