And i cannot attest to what mr bettman would in fact do.
All I care about is systematically eliminating the condoning of how the rangers play in the spring as "playoff hawkey" - stayinthefnnet
I thought that was how Boston played in the spring. Or is that , "playaff hackey?" |

boston plays that way as well. however, im not naive enough to think that boston would cease to be a good team with proper officiating. theyre just damn good, especially that year.
the rangers on the other hand? (frank) them. |

I'm a Steelers fan, because I like football teams that enjoy winning more than money and public image.
Am I also 0% Philly? |

Time is irrelevant in baseball. You could theoretically have a 5-hour half-inning in baseball.
In football, the refs just spin the wheel of every play and throw a flag when the wheel commands it.
Basketball, I can't even understand what a foul is any more.
In hockey, the reason a penalty isn't called late in a game the same way as it is earlier is because oh how important each goal is in a game, and because, if a game has gone 50+ minutes evenly, you'd hate for one team to lose based on a potentially minor infraction.
That said, I agree with you 100%. - jmatchett383
allow me to clarify. time was applied to in baseball in reference to your respective place on the continuum of the game. yes, the conventional, temporal meaning of time ultimately does fail to describe it properly in that sport, so allow me to instead substitute "inning".
a pitch that is a strike on the first pitch of the third inning, should be a strike on the last pitch of the ninth.

Why not? Why does being from an area mean you have to root for that area-specific team? I've never understood this. |

i most certainly can.
first off, for as much as i love hockey. I fail to see how one's hockey allegiance has somehow been anointed as the barometer through which we measure one's percentage of somehow being a particular city.
in its plainest terms, being "from a city" is nothing more than a mere geographic coincidence or choice, depending on your respective circumstance.
by this logic, does a vegetarian fail to qualify as a real philly person because they dont scarf down the famous cheesesteaks?
do i up my philly quotient because im currently on North broad street eating a soft pretzel?
