I cant wait to read Stewies take on that ABSOLUTELY BRUTAL call in Washington last night. - MBFlyerfan
I used to like Stewart's blogs, they were fun stories. Now he just feels the need to defend NHL officials no matter what and to prove how masculine, chivalrous, and loyal he is. Kerry Fraser's blogs are much more unbiased. |

That official needs to sit for a few games. It was egregiously bad. |

You don't vote for King.

they brought back chicken fries, but they couldn't bring back the games? disappointing. I, for one, eagerly await the HD re-release. |

Flyers just dont match up well against them. Also Tampa has hated the Flyers for years but the Flyers dont really care. Tampa is playing a rivalry game while the Flyers are heading in as "just another game". - GOA88
A rivalry game? How do you figure? We've played what 1 important playoff series in 20 years, different division, 3 games a year. Really well the Bolts might have had the Flyers number recently but prior to that the Flyers had Tampas for years. Just 1 of 82 and hopefully a good game not why you're cooking up upstairs. So you lived in Tampa and they hate the Flyers- whoa have you been to any other cities to see how much love your team gets..lol hockey fans always hate the opposing team.
P.s. Did you get this idea off one of your conspiracy websites?
I usually don't comment on other team boards but this guy has been funny on our boards for years. |

I really don't think anyone, including myself, will dispute that Emery has played better. I don't think Mason's played poorly, and I do think that he's had a bit more bad luck than Emery. But hey, it's working, so no reason to change it now. - jmatchett383
When someone (not you) continues to make the same argument of Emery isn't seeing the same equality of shots as Mason, that to me is mind blowing. To me, it doesn't matter the margin at which a player is outplaying another player. It's simply the fact that right now Emery is getting it done and Mason isn't. There for Emery is the best solution right now, as the better player. |

Which is why Paul wrote about Shane Heyer -- and old friend of his -- having bad positioning on the play where Foligno got hurt the other day. Trust me, he isn't afraid to say what he thinks.
I know because I'm the one who talks to him on the phone several days per week and edits his blogs.

Paul was flying back to the North America from Russia and didn't see the game or highlight clips until it was too late for today's blog. But there will be ample opportunity to discuss calls throughout the season. On this one, there is no disputing that it was a badly missed call.
The disallowed first-period goal in the Oilers-Preds game was also the wrong decision, IMO, but there was room to debate that one. |
