I think the team in front of emery played better, allowing him to look better |

One thing we can say about this team....there is no Quit...That in it self tells me they are going in the right direction.....I thought Delzotto had his best game as a Flyer last night, he just seemed more focused and composed...his puck moving skills are by far the best the Flyers have....I will be in the minority but I LOVE the signing of Colaiacovo...from back in the early days as a Leaf this kid really had the chance to be something special. At 31 he still has a chance in the right circumstance to be a very solid top 4 guy....If not derailed by a rash of injuries, this kid really is a good hockey player....Besides a few hick ups by Grossmann last night I thought the D played pretty good....pretty tough for Grossmann against Tbay...now that's a quick team.

I think the only reason why the too many men on the ice call was made, is because it gave the Flyers an advantage that was going to lead to a scoring chance. Raffl jumped on the ice pretty early. If it wasn't a scoring chance, I think it's let go. Bad timing, but in that situation, I think it's a call that they have to make. |

I think it is fairly evident that Hextall puts an emphasis on puck moving d-men. |

If he can get in shape and stay healthy, he gives the Flyers some depth. No real risk. Del Zotto is getting better and better. And he gives the Flyers an element they badly need. |

Not the defenseman we need, but the one we deserve |

I am actually likeing how del zotto and schultz are playing. Del Zotto seems to be getting a lot more comfortable and is starting to use his skills to get us out of the zone. He made a couple nice spin moves to get out of trouble and out of zone and then followed play up the ice. I think once hye gets that first goal we will really see the offense come. |

Is the CC signing a one-way or two-way contract? What happens when Coburn and A Mac return? The way I see it there are three options:
1. Waive CC and send him down to AHL
2. Carry CC as the 8th defenseman
3. Trade another defenseman
Figure A Mac, Coburn and Streit to be the most safe. Sure anyone of them can go. But contracts and value to the team would make them the least likely to be traded.
If MDZ starts to settle in, and plays even remotely like last night, he would have a ton of value to the team.
Schultz is perfect as a 7th defenseman, and has arguably played in the top-6 of late.
So does this mean either L Schenn or Grossmann gets traded? |

actually I thought he was going to be the one to tie it last night in the final minute...Hopefully last night is a sign of things to come.

I don't know if it's a one way or two way, but it realy doesn't matter. I see them carrying 8 defenseman. |
