Snakes don't bother me at all.
Spiders though are the stuff of my nightmares - BiggE
Agree completely. F those mother effers. The day spiders evolve and grow wings is the day my life ends |

Love the Carlo signing. Very low risk with very high potential reward. If he can stay healthy, and that's obviously a big IF, the guy can help this blue line a lot. The guy is a good player with skill when healthy |

I know. I never kill spiders. Ill put them outside. They're the best at keeping flies and mosquitos away in the summer. - PhillySportsGuy
Bats are actually the best at this. Especially for the mosquitoes. |

PEB is not a top 6 forward. That line has looked pretty solid but it hasn't produced enough offense, IMO. Lecavalier may not be a great option either but he hasn't played enough games this year to really judge. - NickTheKid87
I'd rather have a line with less offense and a better +/- than a line with more offense and worse +/-.

I would start him there as well. The Schenn-VL-Simmonds line is a disaster. Tbh, I don't really like our third line right now either. I would like to revisit the Akeson-Couts-Read line that had some success against the Rangers. - PhillySportsGuy
The way Akeson is getting absolutely rag dolled off of the puck, no way would I put him on that line. He needs to pick up his game big time. And play far more competitively. |

Ok. But here is my feeling. I don't think Akeson has enough of PROS to outweigh his CONS. Even looking across the NHL I don;t see spots in the top 9 where i can say Akeson would be better. Also there are players in the AHL that are just as good or better. His chance to play in the NHL right now is to make the most of his minutes on the 4th line. If he has to focus more on simpler plays, being better in own end, playing more physicall then so be it. He has to adjust or his chance will be gone. Fair or not. All around the NHL you see guys getting their one chance on the 4th line. It is what they do in those limited minutes that determine if they stay or not. - J35Bacher
That's spot on. Players like Raffl, Bellemare, and even Vandevelde lately have done enough with 4th line limited minutes to get noticed and to earn more ice time. Excuses kept being made for Akeson. He's non competitive away from the puck. |

Berube is being really nice to Gostisbehere. Going to give him the night off tomorrow so he can go to Olive Garden with his family instead of playing vs the Panthers. |

I don't see a need to move Bellemare from Line 2.
Stats since Vinny's injury in 7 games
PEB 2 pts +3
Simmonds 3 pts +5
B Schenn 5 pts +1
The second line is basically not allowing goals and still making a moderate contribution. I dont see a need to reinsert Vinny unless he proves otherwise - Just5
Need more offensive production from that line. The need is the top line has been carrying them offensively for the most part lately. And Bellemare will strengthen the 4th line. |

We do know enough about Vinny to say that he's nowhere near as good a skater, and he's nowhere near as effective two-ways in the middle... and he's not exactly a huge improvement in the ES point production dept anymore, either. - Tomahawk
Honestly don't now how you can say he's not a big improvement in ES point production over Bellmare. |

Looking at the schedule for the next week, we better go undefeated the next four games. I know I'mnot giving Florida enough credit but we should win the next games. Hopefully Mason starts them all because that should mean Mason has won them all. |

Ghost will have more friends and family members there than Panther fans and with the flyer fans going the BB&T center should be rocking flyer orange |
