That was one of the worst plays I've seen. Turgeon scores the OT winner and like 15 secs later.. boom.
Also another that belongs there is Chelios. His hit on Propp still angers me. - Hextall271
The hit on Propp was dirty, but the one on Turgeon...God, that borders on criminal assault. |

But didn't we agree like 2 weeks ago that this was a throw-away season and that we should start selling off pieces and tank for McDavid? - jmatchett383
You and I have never agreed on anything. |

I love you too.
Actually, we were in mild agreement yesterday. The horsemen are on their way. |

Scott Stevens and Chris Pronger in the Department of Player Safety (potentially)
Carlo Coliacovo, a player who repeatedly has been unable to stay in the lineup, playing for the Philadelphia Flyers, a franchise that prides itself on toughness
The world has gone mad |

I must say I have been pleasantly surprised with Schultz's play (guess this is why the preseason shouldn't be taken too seriously) and Del Zotto has looked better and better with more minutes. Fingers crossed that he is finding his game again. He could end up being an absolute steal for the team. capgeek has him as a RFA. can that be right? - nastyflyergirl
Yep, the Flyers control his rights, due to his age and accumulated NHL seasons -- he's here if the Flyers want him to be |

The offside non-call was blatant, and the too many men was tough but I could see it.
I still don't know WTF Rinaldo did. I swear I don't
I have watched that sequence three times now and I honestly don't know WTF he did
That call infuriates me more than anything else, because you miss the offside, it's tough but ok. You missed it. The too many men, you don't have to call but you could.
The Rinaldo call is infuriating because you are saying the player did something AND giving the opposition a PP, which they (frank)ing scored on
I'm so pissed about that call, 12 hours later, it is making me see red |

I'm hoping he continues his solid play. He's been really good after a bit of a rough start. He seems to have more confidence in Gus game. |

Absolutely -- good for him for (potentially) taking advantage of a huge opportunity |

Magic started once they split him off from Schenn. And now Ghost/Manning are out for the GA. |

I would wait till everyone is healthy and then see what you have...competition is a good thing. On the flip, when everyone is healthy and you can make a deal, then so be it. But, Hexy is showing a lot more patience then Homer. FINALLY!!! This is something that Flyer fans are not used to, to some degree. Yes, it's win now but lets allow the "kids" some time to develop.
I would imagine that CC's deal is a two-way but nonetheless, the Flyers will have to put him on IR within a month, so it's a wash with his salary.
I try not to bring up the officiating but DARN, it was almost like they needed Tampa to win the game last night. Fishy calls!!! - phi1671
