In all reality, he could end up our 3rd line center.
Grigorenko looks like a stud tright now. - sbroads24
I see him as a top six right winger in the future but really its too early to say |

I see girgorenko filling out as a wing in the NHL, but that's just me |

Nice quote from Murray about Reinhart
Many fans have no idea how to develop young players. They want all the 18-21 year olds in Buffalo and playing despite not being ready for the NHL. Murray disagrees with that philosophy, “For an 18 year old player, I don’t see the value of you can sit on the bench and workout versus going back to junior. Great players have gone back to junior.” |

well, he was his first-ever pick as a GM - Michael Pachla
Right it just stands out because its slightly out of charator for Murray to have an emotional attachment to anything. |

Can we get Grigorenko up here now? Or will it be Kaleta on 4th line with McCormick and Deslauriers? |

Kaleta. And he will give Ennis a run for the money at the scoring lead. |

I actually see Girgensons going back to wing before any of the others.
The Girgensons/Grigorenko/Armia line from camp 2 years ago could be our future scoring line.
I think Girgensons could open up a lot of space for those two |

All I know is, next year at this time, draft aside, Sabres hockey should be more fun with each of the existing prospects being older and more experienced. |

There are going to be at least 10 guys fighting for NHL spots next season.
I also think there is going to be a few big trades. Interesting deadline/offseason coming |

Lemieux will likely be a lock, wonder if Bailey takes time in Rochester or not (probably with an influx of youngsters coming). |

As a devils fan who really doesn't care what the sabres do, i have to wonder how much more the sabres can do to tank this year, maybe not show up for games? maybe only skate 4 players all game long? You draft a guy with the second pick, play him on the 4th line then send him back to juniors, what exactly is he going to learn in juniors for a last place team? First the GM is already scouting minor league players, now you send down a top 2 draft pick? Funny how it was the devils who were circumventing the rules, but the sabres tanking a whole season isn't? |

Well in, Pach.
I smell a trade coming for the wing. Don't know why.
(Actually, it's because I'd like to see room open up for Armia and Grigs to move up together). - Der Kaiser
can we just leave these guys and let them developI mean come on now
there in a good environment down there don't bring them to this mess
we all knew what we signed up for now we're just going to have to deal with this
I was ready for this in the summer |

its not tanking if we ice a poopty team, its not like we have guys like toews and kopitar on our team. Everyone on the outside sees it as losing games on purpose but all were doing is having less talent than the other team were playing. Yes, its the plan but dont act like we can actually beat 95 percent of the nhl teams |

This team is brutally bad. Ask any Sabres fan, and we will tell you with the acquisition of Gionta and Gorges, and with Stafford and Stewart in Contract years, we at least expected some hard fought games. After 10 games, it's apparent that this team is going nowhere. Right now, Reinhart does not fit in on this team. He can not go to Rochester. Why waste a year of his ELC on a 15-20 point season for the kid? Further, why repeat past mistakes like what happened with Grigorenko last year. One year ago, Grigs was a mess. Now he looks like he can be a contributor.
As has been stated numerous times and from multiple team GMs, you need buy-in from all levels for a tank. There will be players, coaches, management, hell equipment managers who may not buy into a tank, which keeps it from being an inevitability. I think by your post, you are reading into the situation a bit excessively. |

I bet that line would click right now in the nhl. That being said I love Grigo and Armia together and a full year in the ahl will probably make the transition easier next year. Don't rush them and you will be rewarded. However if they both got called up today I would be so happy. |
