Hodgson is soft like butter, Stewart does not seem to be getting it done, and Myers just needs a change. There is nothing wrong with these players but hockey is a team game and for the most part the Sabres are below average. All these players would thrive say in Pittsburg or Chicago.

I bet that line would click right now in the nhl. That being said I love Grigo and Armia together and a full year in the ahl will probably make the transition easier next year. Don't rush them and you will be rewarded. However if they both got called up today I would be so happy.

Man I miss the Hemsky-Horcoff days in EDM. I thought we were rough on guys like Sekera and Stafford but you should have seen those oilers boards when those two were around.

Because defensemen don't peak at 19 years old.

Is it not seemingly coincidental that every year he has so called "regressed" the Sabres as a whole have been worse?

I'm not saying he's going to morph into a yearly Norris candidate, but I also don't think he's close to done improving, especially on this tire fire of a team
