Is it not seemingly coincidental that every year he has so called "regressed" the Sabres as a whole have been worse?

See but that's what you guys sound like. Fact is his rookie year set up unrealistic expectations. And I'm pretty sure Murray said something along those lines also and added that Myers is not the "next big thing". So if you are a big believer in Murray then you shouldn't be surprised if he's traded

Personally I like him more than most people. I think it would be idiotic to trade someone of his size that can skate like him. His contract his fine, and he's a good player.

As far as Murray goes, I would be surprised if he's traded just based on the logistics. Why rush to move someone who is young and signed long term? His value isn't decreasing. He's playing #1 minutes. Granted on this team the offense won't be there, but still..... I think there is a good reason why a team that has been as successful as the Wings are attempting to pry him away.

He did, but I think Nolan said that if there is someone Murray is going to trade or try to trade, they talk about it. So it might be Detroit is calling the Sabres and not the other way around

Once his Jr teams season is over or has been eliminated from the playoffs the Sabres can play him where they see fit.

This is also his 4th CHL seasons thus allowing him to play in the AHL next year if need be.

I don't see a problem with him going back at all then. He'll most likely get a taste of the AHL playoffs and start next year in Rochester. Seems like the proper development path to me!
