Connor McDavid is playing a different game than his peers. Two early assists have him at 40 points ... and it's only his 14th game.

I'd be curious to see a stat that shows the average number of goals we need to win a game over the last few years. ie in a 6-3 win we needed 4 goals to win, in a 2-1 loss we needed 3 goals to win. I'm not really an advanced stats guy so I'm not sure if it's a thing or not. Just curious to see where we would rank among the league. I have a hunch though.
