Could be better, could be worse. Girlfriend got her program cut so will lose her job at any moment in the next weeks. She was helping elementary schools to build and repair the infrastructures and signage to have the kids walk and bike to school in a safe way. The hostel/café/show aside of my house is going bankrupt tomorrow because the city prefers to invest in a poopty fountain/park that will cost more and bring nothing for the people, and because culture is getting cut year after year in our province. Our historic theatre will be demolished next week. My teacher friend got told she needs to wait a few weeks before getting her paycheck. Yesterday I fired my junior designer because my clients' budgets are getting cut or eliminated. Two good friends are moving to BC because they lost their jobs, two others just moved to Ottawa for the same reasons.

It's a financial crisis that is starting right now and living in the country, it's a little more "in your face". Fortunately, everybody around is healthy, I've got a house, food and beer in the fridge.

Yeah things are slowing down. Thank god they annonced a new infrastructure program for me.

Here's one "valid" argument that I kinda like about Maurice Richard bridge.

This new bridge will be modern ( yeah cuz it's new) and will represent the modern Quebec.

Modern QC can be traced back to La Révolution tranquille ... and the Maurice Richard émeutes are pretty much a major event in the Revolution tranquille.

Les quantités des ingrédients de notre Recette de Vin Chaud Cannelle
75 centilitres de vin rouge (Côte du Rhône, Gamay)
125 grammes de sucre
Une orange non traitée
Un petit assortiment d’épices : deux bâtons de cannelle, trois clous de girofle, dix grains de poivre noir et une étoile de badiane (anis étoilé)
En bonus, vous pouvez ajoute d’autres épices : gingembre, genièvre, cardamone, …
Les étapes de notre Recette de Vin Chaud Cannelle
Versez le vin dans une casserole
Faites-le chauffer sans le laisser bouillir avec l’étoile de badiane
Récupérez le zeste de l’orange
Ajoutez les 125 grammes de sucre, les deux bâtons de cannelle, les trois clous de girofle, les grains de poivre noir et les zestes d’orange … et les autres épices que vous avez éventuellement choisi d’ajouter
Continuez de le faire chauffer jusqu’au frémissement sur feu doux pendant vingt minutes
Filtrez à l’aide d’une passoire
Et voilà, la recette de Vin Chaud Cannelle est terminée, vous pouvez servir bien chaud !
