Defence, special teams and coaching.
Thought we looked better walking into the bell center, better suits, better struts. We were definitely the better team in the warm up, hands down. Just couldn't pull through though, it's going to happen from time to time.

It would be nice if there was one leader.

I thought they had a chance down by 3.

It was not Price's fault, no sense singling him out.

Also, I get the feeling MT is starting to act like a ding a ling when it comes to line combos and who's in and who's not in.

Two very good veteran leaders were lost at once, that's going to cause some problems in the leadership department. They needed to go and I'm happy with that but no doubt they must be missed in the locker room.

MT juggling is out of control. Don't like Galchenyuk with Bork, if you want the kid to succeed....

What is with us and playing bad against Western teams??? Weise should not be on the first line with Pacioretty and Desharnais. Galchenyuk, Gallagher or Parenteau would be better choices to be honest.

Agreed. Every championship team has had a legit top line centre. Teows, kopitar, bergeron, etc. They will never win with this guy as the top guy.

Desharnais was a special kind of awful last night and has been all year. Like many of the players on this team, he's a guy who's useless unless he's playing at capacity effort. But he mailed it in on every shift last night.
