He's been playing in the AHL. If they were going to move him they would have. Sorry but this is one of those deals that makes you look like a genius if you got it right but if you get it wrong you can always back it up with some bullpoop like "oh price was too high" or "talks fell apart, but the were so close" aka the deal never made it through preliminary talks.

Not at all, they value that guys opinion because he got info right. It's no difference than Homer mentioning that potential Dustin Brown deal. I trust his word based on his previous accuracy, but it doesn't guarantee poop.

I read the messages after this one and the guy who posted it seems legit, I mean he won their 1st Star Award last year so he has probably called some things for them. I saw that someone mentioned Hodgson was mentioned in a package and I could see that as long as the Sabres got enough back.

I'm not totally convinced either. Maybe they had talks and Murray wants to scout Nichushkin a bit post injury. He had a groin/hip injury and was on a conditioning assignment in the AHL and was recalled yesterday. That would be the only reason the trade hasn't happened yet.

I'd be all in for a Myers/Nichushkin deal.
