I think he's going to wait and see how the overall health of the Flyers defense is, before thinking about that. And I think they'll carry 8 defenseman.

Good team when they skate. They had good neutral zone pressure, didn't give the Oilers much time to make a play, and kept them to the outside.

It wouldn't suprise me if they carried 8, but I am wondering if Luke is one who becomes a healthy scratch ..will it hurt his trade value?

Solid first, Mason looks sharp, the D solid (MDZ very good) and the top line looks great. The Couturier line was good and the 4th line was fine.

The VLC line...meh, however it was still a bit better than I expected.
