I wonder if CBJ fans are starting to feel the way Flyers fans do with JVR regarding the trade of Voracek. To think all they have to show for giving up the #8 pick in a deep draft and Voracek is Jack Johnson? Yikes.... - PLindbergh31
They have a lot to feel bad about to be honest. Voracek and Coots for Carter. Carter for Johnson. The return on Nash was fairly weak. Horton's career basically ending after signing a long term deal and only playing 30-odd games.
That said, I really like their GM. But he really has his work cut out for them. |

It wouldn't suprise me if they carried 8, but I am wondering if Luke is one who becomes a healthy scratch ..will it hurt his trade value? - 3flyerkids
I don't know, if everyone is healthy, I'd have to choose to scratch him. And not because he's playing that poorly. It's just that others are better.

i would imagine it would, but i'm not sure the scratching would make any real difference. the tape is there for other teams to watch and see what everyone else sees. then again, the nhl isn't exactly littered with mensa candidates so anything's possible. |

Well they got Bob for a song, and unloaded a buyout corpse in Umberger on the Flyers. They've exacted some revenge. |

I'm glad to see the Flyers decided to use their second half of the game talent early. Especially Jake.
Hopefully this found talent doesn't leave them over the course of the game.

They'll get two good years out of Hartnell before they regret that deal. Bob was very good add for them, definitely.
They're in line to lose their 6th straight tonight. Gotta be wondering if they're feeling pressured to make a move. |

Streit wouldn't have gone for that if it was anyone but the Oilers. |
