Yup. He's the sole reason that the Canucks have been able to get away with having two third line wingers on the second line. - CubanBuffet
I don't exactly think that's fair. Bonino has made some great plays but the line has had good chemistry overall. Sure if that is Kesler then Higgins and Burrows don't look anywhere near as good but they haven't been dead weight |

Agreed, his play away from the puck has been solid and he doesn't look out of place |

If I didnt have Bieksa in the pool, I'd be pretty all these PIMS that he's picking up in this game. |

I can't bring myself to hope for the Canucks to lose this week just because you have so many Canucks

It was an exaggeration for sure, but there is no denying that they have benefited greatly from his playmaking ability. |

I know its early but WD has really improved this team. Wow just wow. A bad first period but no bad 2nd and 3rd period. This team is finishing hockey games. I have to say I wasn't expecting this. |

I didn't even think that the first was that bad. Loving Willie though. It's attack attack attack hockey. |

I think he stays the season. Injury to Higgins, Bonino, vey, Kassian or whomever and he fills right in. Burrows should ride the pine. |

Damn impressive! Down 2 goals most of the game...
Bonino...what can I say? The Canucks haven't had a consistent 2nd line since the Sedins were coming into their own there.... I'm really hoping this keeps clicking with him. Not just goals but he's improving in the face off circle as well.
Horvat fit in nicely... couple of quick thinking plays. Still looks like he needs to get used to the physical level in the NHL... thought that when he got injured. Hopefully that improves without him getting hurt again.
Bottom six is looking very very strong... we saw it shaping up last year but Benning did well picking up Vey and Dorsett. Horvat is going to have a chance to do well on whichever pair he gets to play with I think.
Bieksa... 8 minutes of minor penalties. |

Night and day compared to last year. Would have turned it off after 2-0 last year. |
