I think he stays the season. Injury to Higgins, Bonino, vey, Kassian or whomever and he fills right in. Burrows should ride the pine. - dshiddy
A little hasty there but he looked fine tonight. I don't know how you say burrows is the 13th forward?
Anyways 5 of the top 10 teams in the league are from pacific div, cray cray |

At 4.5m he better be scoring 25-30 goals. He ain't.
Thanks for the memories Alex, but it's time to go. He's the last piece of the old core that I feel needs to go to have a clean slate. |

I'm pleasantly surprised with the Canucks so far, but what the (frank) are the Flames doing? |

I respect the flames a hell of a lot more than the Oilers with their rebuilding process. Teams are looking forward to playing edmonton right now. Not Calgary because they play so hard. |

I thought Kassian played Great, he's starting to use his body really well to protect the puck to buy time for him to make some solid passes. i thought Higgy played well too. Bonino's second goal was an absolute snipe!! Other than his two goals i actually thought Bonino looked slow... but i'll take two goals from any player no matter how fast or slow they are!!
Horvat definitely looked like he could handle playing with the big boys. Did well in the face off circle, held his own physically, and showed some poise with the puck on the offensive and defensive end. |

I didn't see the game but I'm starting to think that WD is a better coach than Torts. |

Somebody help me with this Canuck trivia.
Tonight 1040 talked about the last Canuck who ever scored in his first game... it got me to thinking... we once had a player, whom I believe we drafted who finally made the team but broke his leg in the ... what I think was his first game, or at least very very early in his career... and never played again.
I think it was early 90s.
Anyone remember this? |

Blaspheme!
Heard the radio guys say, if WD wins 45 games this year he would be in the top 10 all time for wins by a Canucks head coach. |

Did anyone else see the weird moment in the third on the last power play when the Sedins were killing time and everyone on the ice just stopped. No one was moving and the crowd was quiet. Spooky! |
