The team looks significantly improved without Weber and Benoit. I think we should put Weber and Benoit in for every non-rivalry game.

I age whiskey
- Buffalo-Sabres

I do too - but usually only bourbons and Irish Whiskey, and only the bottom half of the bottle.

I let it sit in a cool dry place for at least 3,600 seconds before I start the second half of the bottle.

That's a Jaguars Home game, correct?
- buffalofan19

You should put it in one of these bad boys for about a half a year. It will come out a different product.

I'll make cherry bounce out of bourbon. One bottle of jim beam, pound of fresh sour cherries and a cup of sugar. Put it in a jar and stir for two weeks then let sit for 6 months. I make it in July so it's ready by Christmas, pull the cherries out and dry them then dip them in chocolate. The bourbon gets consumed during the holidays

Garrioch ( I know I know) seems to think that the Sens, with 14 forwards on their roster atm might be willing to move a player and a prospect for UFA to be Stewart, which is nuts imo. Greening and Condra have played little so could Murray be interested in Greening and a group that includes Hoffman, Prince or Puempel? Why Ottawa is interested in Stewart is beyond me.

Did anyone have an opinion on Sekac's hit on Zadorov?

I'd give up a buttload for Mark Stone.

Kinda avoidable by both. Seems Zads figured the player coming at him was tied up and therefore he went for the puck.

What I find interesting in these plays is that everyone blames the person getting hit for turning at the last minute. If they do not turn to protect the puck, the chance that the other team gets the puck is highly likely. Yes it puts the player in a more vulnerable position, but if they want to keep possession of the puck, they need to keep it.

Habs fans cry about everything lol. Was a hit from behind that cut his face open from contact with the glass. Could of been a 4 minute in my opinion

That close to the boards Zads should not have been hit. So the right call was made . (boarding) Those are the hits that cause injury and are avoidable. and imo all boarding calls should be reviewed.

Edit: Zads was playing the puck. if he wasn't ? would have been interference.

I graduated from college in southwest Ohio in 1986. In the fall of '85, regional broadcasts of the Cleveland Browns featured Reggie Rucker as part of the announcing team, and he would frequently lose track of what he was saying.

In one game, the Browns ran a good old fashioned power sweep left. Rucker's call was this:

"That play was simmmppleeeeeeeeeeeee ...... ..... ........ simple."
