Yeah but they have a logical explanation for being bad. One of your top guys snaps his leg in preseason, that doesn't sound like a tank job. Same thing with the blue jackets.

I don't know if anyone else has the same kind of time that I do, but in the comments someone referenced that every team that trades players away at the deadline is tanking. It's an interesting point. I know that Buffalo is the front runner for it, but it's not abnormal. They signed "marquee" players (that is used loosely, obviously) and are still unable to click/gel/work hard/whatever.

Looking at his numbers thus far, neither would I...

6' 3", 187 lbs...12g 21a in 14 games which is good for 2nd over all in the OHL...on pace for 160 points...

Oh I know...just making a point that the numbers are there. Heck, their 3rd line center is a rookie and he is at almost a 2 point a game clip. Whether or not Strome pans out is yet to be seen but the same could be said for any kid in juniors...
