It needs to be partially opened for optimal results. Too open and everybody tries to go through at once, and get stuck in the door frame. - BulliesPhan87

the thing is though, no one in Philly could possibly care less because he won in 2008.
If he would had not won, these stories would be legendary in every way. (I'm sure there are thousands of them). - KGBflyers10

I think that was Simmonds' reaction for his "elbowing" call last night. |

If you like that, I've got 2 Pat Burrell stories that will make your day even better. I think I've told them on her before.
Chase Utley was asked what his favorite off-field moment of 2008 was. He told the story that, in a hotel on a road trip, he was in the room next to Burrell. So, as usual, Pat's banging some road beef. Utley hears his scream, "TELL ME YOUR P---Y IS JEALOUS! So she screams, "MY P---Y IS JEALOUS!" And then he hears Pat go, "That's right, because Pat Burrell's in your ass."
A girl I know (okay, met her twice) used to date Jason Michaels. She was out to dinner with Jason as well as her younger sister, who was a senior in high school. Michaels calls up Burrell, and he joins them. After dinner, she asks if Burrell would like to go to her prom, to which he replies (in typical fashion), "Get under the table and blow me." She's shocked, and asks him what he said, so he replies, "Get under the table and blow me." When she says no, he throws down money to cover the meal (plus tip, because he's classy) and walks out. - jmatchett383
hahaha yeah. i havent heard any specifics like that before, but i knew pat was a real winner in that regard.
i will admit, the first one actually is humorous. however, when i think about these things seriously, it causes a lot of anger about the human race.

99.5 percent of the female individuals involved in these stories can in no way shape or form be considered a lady.

No, I'm really pretty sure that that game was the game in which voracek got the game winner late. That was vokoun in net. (unless someone has photoshopped it or whatever). but if its the game im thinking of, it had voukun in net, and the goal was more of a defensive breakdown that utter goalie gaffe. - stayinthefnnet
You are correct, sir. It really doesn't seem to matter who is in goal for the Penguins v Philly. Especially in Pittsburgh. |

i thought voukun had a solid run with the pens. But yeah, the flyers definitely give them trouble. Even more so at home. |

He was DMing this girl a few years ago (2012 I think). She must have been 19 or 20. He asked her for nudes and she said sure and asks for his email address. He asked her if she could just send them via DM and she told him you can't send pictures via DM. He replied "Ah didn't know that little DM bit." And then made her promise not to give out his email if he gave it to her. She screenshot the entire convo and tweeted it. She's a known "puck bunny" or at least was. She's married now. |

I don't know if he knows any of this. I figure he must. She also reportedly did the nasty with our very own Scott Laughton after the 2012 Draft in Pittsburgh. |

When did Akeson become the great white hope? He wasn't even a minor league star and now he is the savior for the first line Can we move on from Akeson. He is just not that good. - J35Bacher
There never seems to be any culpability on the player. If Akeson isn't playing, well the team just isn't giving him a chance, or they aren't using him right. Same with Gustafsson. |

sometimes a guy needs more than a 2 game stretch to really show it though. a lot of it could be nerves. players that know they are on such a short leash and looking to impress often overcompensate and end up either looking lost or shoot themselves in the foot.
despres is finally starting to show some of his talents, now that he can relax and let the game come to him and not have to worry about one blown assignment or hooking penalty shipping him right back to the AHL.
im not anointing either akeson or gus as anything. i just think we have different definitions of what constitutes a proper chance. |
