I'm afraid Umberger and Lecavalier are going to be black holes the entire season. 13 games in, and Umberger has done nothing offensively, and if VL doesn't contribute points, he does nothing else well.

Perron is more a playmaker and could be useful with Vinny.

The one thing with all our defense seemingly playing well is maybe we can move one to an aseet or picks. This might not be a popular opinion but I think Schultz could take the place of Grossmann or Schenn if we could move them for a winger. Remeber with Coburn and Macdonald coming back. Carlo could become the 7 guy if Schultz moved into the lineup.

Raffl was playing with Giroux and Voracek, previously, and brought skill and a net presence to the line, and he was leading the Flyers in goals scored before getting injured. As soon as the Flyers lose a game or two, or one of the lines struggle, the complaining will pick up again.

Honestly, Luke Schenn and Umberger have played like borderline NHL players this year. At best, Umberger is a 4th liner right now and Schenn is a 3rd pairing dman. It's sickening that this team is paying these players $8M this year AND next year.
