Good teams have good goalies that can steal games when the team isnt playing well. Good teams have good scoring to outscore a team when their goalie isnt playing well.
We simply have had Miller playing well every night he has been in net with a one game exception. We ran into trouble when Lack has been in and we weren't able to out score the other team.
If we continue on this path that we are on right now, we should be able to overcome some iffy goalie nights. Right now we are not there. When we have solid goal tending we are a threat (as just seen with timely goals on a game we shouldnt have won).
I am thinking that WD can coach us there. We have a 14 game sample, a tough road trip to finish out still. However, next game against LA will hopefully be a good hustling, gritty game. The game against Anaheim may be interesting as we havent been good yet on back to back nights. But it is against Kes so...maybe they will get up for it.
I just hope we get up for the game against LA, if we play well I think we win this one. But lose to Anaheim in OT. |

Hit the nail on the head here. WRT the D I think Bieksa has been among the worst, Hammer has played pretty poorly, and Sbisa is starting to show signs of improvement. Edler and Tanev look very good - bezz44
Bieksa has been a train wreck too many nights to ay hes been good that's for sure.

Meh. I'd rather have Richardson... - Nucker101
I just read most of the posts. If I was an outsider looking in I would think this team has gone on a 10 game losing streak.
I agree no need to revisit Manny Bert Nazzy Cookie Kes . You usually let a player go for a reason.
Trev ,Benning and Willie have done an outstanding job so far. We may be a three dressed up as a nine right now, but we are not far off from being a contender.
I agree with you keep Richardson forget Manny |

Yea, found out recently my cousin is gay, bit surprising but it doesn't change anything. Same old childhood memories etc. I think in this day and age most people don't give a poop. Not a big fan of the Onion either, sometimes its humourous but as soon as you see what website you're reading there's no point in reading any further |

sorry, thats what I was making a point of.
Last year, your secondary scoring was probably better then this year. (wasn't kess, kass and higgins the top 3?) So it didn't really improve. Its keeping pace.
Its your 1st line point producing thats improved this year (I was responding to the comment that said "when was the last time they got that kind of secondary scoring....they did last year", and if anything it was better....yet lower, I'm talking proportionally) - numbear
Sedin's were point per game players up until the beginning of January last year. With less minutes this year they will hopefully maintain their production. Time will Tell, but i see no reason why they can't. Torts beat them like dogs..... which i thought he was against. |

I think he would argue he beat them like people. He would never treat dogs like that |

His dogs weighed more than the Sedins, so who's easier to beat up. |

I agree. The Onion has gone down in terms of quality over the years. I'm not sure if this is supposed to be satire/irony/lampoon or parody? Notwithstanding, what this article is, is UNFUNNY and, frankly, stupid - at least you would think there would be a creative element. Sadly, no....moving on.... |

Possibly, or maybe Bo is being sent down - bezz44
Better not be as the injuries pile up we will need him and Jensen in the lineup.
Hansen and Matthias can be shopped while Burrows 'maybe' gets his act and skating together in the meantime.

He was 25%, but that was only after 4 FO's. Henrik went 2 - 6 in the beginning of the game, but then got better as the game went on.
In all honesty, it's the kids second game...you don't throw him into the hornets nest in the last 10 minutes of that game, unless you really believe in him or have nothing to lose. He played well though throughout the game...liked him with Dorsett. - Ronning4ever
Horvat played very well vs the big SJ club. regardless of TOI
