At least Kreider ran the goalie...made the 2.5 hours I wasted somewhat better - TPC
That was the highlight. |

There's an identity alright and it's piss poor, we should have replaced Dorsett with Stempniak and kept Boyle if it meant we gonna be this soft, let me in that room and piss them off good - HankdaTank
I would pay to see that.. |

I was at the game so I couldn't really tell, but when the Oilers cleared the puck over the glass towards end of game, did that go out straight and they blew the call? or was it the correct call? |

No clear replay, but the way the puck changed a little direction, I thought it hit something before going out. |

thanks, we were really pissed that there wasn't a call. They had already opened the penalty box door and everything |

For once I actually gave the refs credit for that call. They got together and discussed it and made the right call IMO |

Yeah, at 1st I just assumed because the ref and all the players were saying penalty. |

It seems the Rangers really don't have an identity so far this year. They let the opponent dictate how the game will be played.
The Rangers aren't necessarily a physical team, but when they play a physical game seems the results come out in their favor. I guess if the other team knows the worst they are going to get while skating with the puck is a stick check they will skate rings around you like the Oilers did last night.
I would love for one reporter to ask the question," do you emphasize using the body in both zones?". We all see it here, wonder why its never brought up. - mdw7413
I agree for sure that the rangers dont have an identity so far. Last year we were the fastest team in the league...this year we look slower imo. Even hags and kreider. |

It's not often we get to say we dominated a game.
And how about the nuge developing into that 1c we're so desperate for? He was fantastic.
It's funny, cause I still thought u guys would tie it up late and break our hearts. After the Boston meltdown, I seriously think that may have broken those fragile kids if u stole that game after how well they played.
so thanks for not doing that |

Christ Twitter blew up with every ignorant Isles, Devils and Habs fan chirping about him being dirty and posting pictures of Craig Anderson, they failed to picture Methot as well, that was a reputation call, he needs to turn that rep into a legit scorer - HankdaTank
He made contact with the goalie's pad while it was outside the blue paint. He didn't ram him or extend to him him while being contacted by the d-man on the side of him. A call but also one based on reputation not the actual event |

This is Brassard in a nutshell, looks fantastic then brutal, his defensive zone coverage needs to be much better |

Yeah. He's sorta sneaky fast.
He skates in a kind of hunched position, so his wheels are kinda deceiving and maybe not as aesthetically pleasing as some of the games best skaters. But he can go
Put on some weight and able to battle more effectively and getting played in all situations. He's not there just yet, but it's exciting to see his steps forward this year. We sure do need it. |

Boyle was known as the softest big
Body in the league last
Year on this board as I recall. |

He has a bad habit of taking the body, AV didn't want that poop catching on with the big club.

Lindberg has 8 goals and Miller has 10 points in 11 games, in fact all the top scorers are kids with the exception of Chris Bourque good signs on the farm, either one of those two should get a call up |

problem is it hasn't translated into NHL production yet, at least for Miller. My fear is that Miller is an amazing AHL player but can't make that jump to the NHL |

Larry Brooks says that the Rangers are expected to make a move or two after 5PM with Ryan Malone being sent down along with Conor Allen or Michael Kostka.(Brooks)
Brooks says that a forward is likely to be called up. (Brooks) |

Same here but I don't think he's been given a long enough look, Brooks just tweeted that moves are coming, Malone and Allen most likely going down and a forward coming back up |
