Same here but I don't think he's been given a long enough look, Brooks just tweeted that moves are coming, Malone and Allen most likely going down and a forward coming back up - HankdaTank
Keep Allen, send Kostka |

Larry Brooks says that the Rangers are expected to make a move or two after 5PM with Ryan Malone being sent down along with Conor Allen or Michael Kostka.(Brooks)

That kid was gift wrapped the 3C spot during training camp and let it slip through his hands. Hopefully he can be productive this time around. |

The Forward is going to be Lindberg or Miller. That's a certainty.
Edit: Nope. It's Jesper Fast. I don't get this team. |

Fast is gonna take duclairs spot on the 4th line. |

That a whole other story. If Duclair is solely going to play on the 4th and get scratched every 5 or 10 games, send him back to junior. |

I really think the Rangers need a hit jar. Every time a player has the chance but doesn't take the body and does a stick check,.. $50 in the jar. |

Duclair has been very vanilla the past few games. He kinda just drifts around and stands in the slotwaiting for a pass even though he's covered. He needs to play away from the puck better. |

That's my point. The NHL isn't the place to learn that. The Rangers can't afford it, especially when now in a rut. |

Goalies take the pot. Ask Anderson, Fleury and Price. That's why Kreider does so well in the playoffs. |

On the other hand, once you send him down thats it...he's gone. I trust AV that he won't ruin Duclair. If Duclair struggles and ends up being scratched for a long stretch he will be sent down. They won't keep him around to just sit in the press box for 10 straight games. |

It is hilarious the reputation he has. The only one out of all those that was on him was Anderson, and it wasn't on purpose. He looked like the kid in the Mighty Ducks that couldn't stop. |

If you send him down it does leave the Rangers with options. You can call up one of Miller or Lindberg and have them center the 3rd line. That would allow Hayes to move to the wing and keep Fast around as the extra forward. After seeing a month of Anthony Duclair, there is no denial of skill. What he lacks is, like you said, skill level of away from the puck. I think learning that in the Q would be better. |

I think with duke he has 1 or 2 shifts a game where he takes possession of the puck and does something amazing. If he can get his confidence up and do it more consistently he will be alright.
Theres no rush yet to send him down though. Give it another month to decide. |

Kings signed Jamie McBain, I believe he has to pass through waivers first since he played in Russia, I thought he was a better option than Kostka or Hunwick
Edit: He never went to Russia and signed a PTO with Manchester so LA just signed him |

Is he worse than Kostka, idk. I get the notion of trying to sign him. Especially since Hunwick's game has dipped over the past week too. |

Probably is worse considering Buffalo didn't even offer him a league minimum deal |
