damn you, Neuman!

Just bugging you - based on needs, I think it's a good trade for either side

Sensational goal from Seth Griffith tonight. I don't have a link but this is the way THN described it:

After blocking a shot near Boston’s blueline late in the second period, Griffith chases the puck down the center of the ice, splits and fights off Devils defensemen Marek Zidlicky and Bryce Salvador, spins 180 degrees so that his back is to New Jersey goalie Cory Schneider, then bats the puck between his legs and through Schneider‘s legs to score.

Decent season building for a 5th rounder drafted 2 years ago.

It's not the same but I scored a similar goal playing minor house hockey as a thunderbird hahaha. Probably the only goal I scored the whole season.

Really positive, upbeat article if anyone is interested.

The future looks bright thanks to drafts like this one.

Damn, that was like seeing Schindler's List in the theatre, I remember hearing someone say (5 hours into the movie), "when does he start saving people?"

I can't see anymore terrible drafts, to the level of Mike Gillis, with Jim Benning as the GM.

Agreed, there will always be misses, but not likely with every selection.

Who would you like to see there if Vrbata and Kassian are still out?

I am against breaking up the 2nd line, they are rolling with Burrows, Higgins and Bonino. It leaves on line consistent at least.

Jensen? They tried Vey there for some silly reason, I don't see why Jensen shouldn't get a shot

Yes, He is about the only other choice, or maybe Mattiass or Richardson, but I think that 3rd line is rolling too. Don't want to break up the chemistry too.

Vey looked okay on 2nd line when Burrows was out.

Put Horvat up there for a few shifts and blow his mind.

Or do as Esplen suggested and try Matthias up there. Another centre on that line would be great.

If Kassian wasn't hurt, I'd say try him up there.

Really, you have to try a few guys, it isn't always an easy fit playing with the Sedins.

True, but I would argue that first line chemistry is more important than third line
