The Preds played a good enough 1st to win this game and the Oilers didn't show up for the 1st. Trying to come back against a team with 4 dmen that could probably be top 2 on a lot of teams is going to be tough especially when one of those four is Shea Weber.

its weird. he can carry the puck and make a pass no doubt. but he doesn't seem to be very anticipatory on the pp.
I think hes a little too hesitant and thinking of protecting the blueline instead of pushing and moving the puck to the net.
I mean, hes certainly that way 5v5 which is a huge reason why he doesn't get involved in many goals. the way he is 5v5 its probably a good thing (at least in relation to the opposite), but it doesn't translate very well to pp ability.

With the way the PP has looked lately, it couldn't hurt to give him a shot.
He has offensive instincts and he might help to not get burned shorthanded.
