If we shipped Petry to Detroit we might get Darren Helm. Brodziak might be had for a draft pick, Minnie may want to bend us over on a trade though. Nashville may want to make room for Mike Fishers imminent return. Maybe Cullen or Roy for a prospect and a pick.

An interesting choice might be Brooks Laich from Washington. He has lost his scoring touch for some reason(hopefully he would rediscover it here) and he carries a 4.5mil cap hit for 2 more years but he adds size and leadership. If we were to make a bigger trade maybe we add Mike Green to try and spark our PP.

I think an obtainable defensive duo would be Yandle-Bogosian. If we can find a way to get those dmen on our team, I think we'd have a nice top pair.
