i just don't think Gonchar is needed. i don't think the PP is most glaring issue on this team. i think overall defence is, and i think the best way to overcome that is by living through the growing pains of Beaulieu and Tinordi. we're 15 games into the season. there's no possible way the team could have made proper judgment calls on Beaulieu/Tinordi at this point. and i think that's why people don't like this deal. Travis Moen? who really gives a poop? ya, i know, he's signed next year. at a whopping $1.8 million.
as for you PP line ups, i can get behind them. only change i'd made is having Plekanec/Subban out as the first wave. because clearly, DD as the first wave does not work. - DoubleDown
Emelin is gone. |

Exactly.
(Tinordi and Subban aren't exactly what I'd call soft. Even Beaulieu) |

Gallagher has no business on the powerplay. Love
The guy but he doesn't have the creativity or talent i would rather see Sekac or Galchenyuk on the first unit. Besides , what Gallagher does well -which is create interference and havoc in front of the net- has been largely taken away by the tight goalie interference calls being made
Secondly, you mention beaulieu playing with subban how is beaulieu even going to get IN the lineup now?
Finally , taking a talent like PK off the first unit? Really? Wonder what the guy must be thinking everytime the team struggles Therrien makes him the scapegoat |

Yeah well I've heard Jamaica isn't very welcoming and Cuba/Dominican Republic isn't full of activities... |

Moen was loved by his teammates and respected in the room. His leadership will be missed. Way to rub your team the wrong way, Habs management.
