Wonder how many breakaways Hansen needs to score. Vrbata would have buried those. - docmorgan
Fixed.
Keep Burrows and that 2nd line together. |

Paul MacLean Throwing his Gum on the ice in disgust is AWESOME
probably a missed call but it is still funny. - classic321
Matthias and Turris were having a good battle, refs sometimes let those go, both guys were battling away from the puck(Matthias probably more so though ).
Matthias was damn good tonight. |

Yeah, the team has some time at home to heal up now. Horvat's 9th game is Ana on the 20th I think. |

Fun game tonight. I like these East/West games. You can almost bet it will be open and fun.
And neither team cares about giving up the one point as long as they get one themselves.
But wow --- what a great set up and execution by the Sedins on the OT winner.

Garrett is out to lunch on his star selection - bezz44
Yup. Best I've seen Matthias play as a Canuck. Vey had a solid game, even though he was to blame on the second goal.
Higgins has been great, I'm the first to admit I was wrong on him. |

Yea I couldn't believe Matthias didn't get a star. Higgins is like duct tape, stick him anywhere and he will get the job done.
Edit: I also thought Bieksa was brutal on his breakouts |

Hansen had two missed breakaways. I heard a stat that he's now 2 for 71 all time on breakaway. |

What the (frank) you talkin' about Willis?
You name me one other player on this team that can move up and down the lineup and play all positions like Jannik; from 1st line to 4th line, PP force, PK specialist, defence 1 through 6, bench door opener, pressbox observer, team fluffer.
WD knows what this guy brings and understands the value of a player with his unique skill package (finally).
You were obviously watching a different game than the rest of us. |

JAck of all trades, master of none syndrome. He deserved more respect. Holy crap -- this is his 6th year on the team.... I always see him as a bubble player or get him mixed up with Jensen.

I don't know what it is.... I have always seen Hansen as another Mayson Raymond type... the kind we love 10% and pissed off 90% but those 10 are great. I mean he is rarlry undressed out there or out of position but he can also be invisible.
Peaking of invisible... was Bo even dressed tonight?
