Why do the Sedins keep passing to Hansen?

They should just shoot it at him and hopefully one will bounce in off of him.

Avs defense and lack of forward depth is getting exposed big time.

As much as we female dog about the 2nd line, they've been rock solid to start this season.

Not one home team has lost tonight and not one home team is losing in 11 games

I think the key for them is that they are all very steady, reliable players (with the possible exception of Burrows, though he was consistent for years). Not going to be much variation in their play each night so if it worked once it should work most nights

They work well at even strength. Higgins/Burrows are not good powerplay players though. They doesn't have the puck control and vision for it. I hope WD realizes that soon.

They're okay once they set up, but man, watching them try and cross the blue line is painful.

Even the set-up is pretty bad from what I've seen, unless the puck is on 13's stick. Higgins and Burrows rarely look to create something, seems like they're still on 5v5 mode and all they do is try not to give up control of the puck instead of trying to create and take advantage of the 5v4 situation.

I would love to see Kassian get a shot instead of Burrows, keep Higgins if you want a "hustle" type of forward on that line.

I'll admit that Sbisa did look pretty good against those bigger/physical teams.

If he wasn't such a pivotal piece to our next Presidents Trophy I would suggest Matt Duchesne for Sbisa straight up
