It is actually a 14-way trade between all the teams outside the playoffs in an effort to shake things up. E4 means that alot(less than none) at least 4 people have thought those rumors are ridiculous. - Dangles13

Kane as a Penguin would be awesome
We have the pieces Winnipeg would need. - Barnaby36
I'm a Leaf fan but Kane with Malkin and Dupuis. Great top 2 lines. |

Very passionate indeed. Does that seem like a fair proposal from an outside perspective? |

too much. Emelin and a late pick should be enough to get it done. |

I would like to, but don't think so.
Which kind of D does the Jets needs ? Scoring or stay-at-home ? Proven player for right now or rookie with potential ? |

Just to be sure, you are talking about Gallagher or Galchenyuk ? Cause I've seen at time that surname used for both players.
Maybe Gallagher could be a piece of a deal where we get Kane (would not like it though), but Galchenyuk forget it. |

For a guy who has scored 20 goals once in his career, and only has 1 goal in 8 games this year?
E Kane is a good hockey player and he is still very young, but he has too much to prove still to be worth that much. |

I can't see Garth giving up any current roster players and breaking up our chemistry. So you're looking at prospects (which we have) or picks (which we don't have).
I think Michael Dal Colle + 1 of Griffin Reinhart/Ryan Pulock would get the deal done. But do we really want to package a future top-6 forward and future top-3 defenseman for a top line forward?
I'd rather keep the prospects. NYI's depth is so solid now, we have the time to let prospects mature in the OHL and AHL. I'd rather have some steady talent coming up and camp competition the next few years, although Kane could be the last piece to solidify our forward corps for the next 3-5 years.

If the Isles stay the course they will be awesome in a few years.
Tavares doesn't get as much credit as Stamkos but I'd prefer Tavares on my team. He is just so good. |
