Are you referring to the media asking him which line he was going to play on and him responding with I'm just going to play my game and after last year being asked all the time I don't want to asked about that again this year?

Higgins has 35 min of PP so far this season, Burrows 27 min and Kassian 2 min.

So ya that would be boatloads in comparison.

Yup you nailed it Vantel - those guys are playing well because of Bonino, they're 3rd line players on LA or SJ. For the Canucks, they're tweeners now that they have a center that can distribute the puck.

When we play a contending team is very apparent that they need another top six forward!!!

That is what I was thinking too. It is great that Bonino is making them look good but imagine is we actually had two more top 6 with Bones?

Sure, the Sedins always have an likely always will get the lion's share. That being said, if you allot 30-45 seconds of PP time to the second unit (which I think is a fair estimate) they should be able to come up with more than one goal in 15+ games.

I would see how contract extension talks went with Tanev and if he is not signed by TDL I would look at Tanev Lack and Shink for Eberle and Scrivens or ROR for Tanev Lack.

Ideally I would trade Bieksa for top 6 or Edler

All of those trades would open up a gaping hole in our D. And so far this year we have had more difficulty keeping the puck out of our net than putting it in the opposition's. We also have poop all as far as high end D prospects to replace any of those top 4 guys

I'd trade those 3 for Eberle straight up and immediately, but EDM would get better offers I would think. Plus they don't need more prospect depth.
