The KHL and Sweden should have their own version of Cherry and use captions so everyone can understand.

I agree completely although I do think so far this year this team has gotten its fair share of lucky bounces ( often what separates average and horrible teams ) and last year this team had horrible luck. This team has done very well in 1 goal situations and I think WD deserves some credit but I will credit his system more if we see this team start to dominate teams.

I do really enjoy the way they are playing but if you listen to WD talk it sounds like he isn't happy with the play yet regardless of the good results.

- belcherbd

This was basically Torts last year. We won a lot of games early despite not really playing the system that Torts wanted. We actually dominated very few of those games even during the winning streak.

Bonino has been awesome.
- VanHockeyGuy

I can only imagine how good he'd look with a natural goal scorer on his wing full-time.

Does Miller score goals though?

The Canucks are 7th in the league in goal per game. Montreal relies on Price more, you guys are 27th in scoring.

- Nucker101

Yeah I think the Canucks have more skill up front and a stronger overall d core but the Habs have price who is typically better than miller. Habs youth is much further along than the canucks tho ....put the Habs in the west and they probably don't make the playoffs but the Canucks in the east do

Big time. There is a reason why the Sedins score, and it isn't because they adhere to the adage "pucks on net"
10 high percentage shots > 30 low percentage shots

- bezz44

If you look at the top 10 goal scorers last year ( 34 the lowest, 51 the highest), only Kunitz (218) and Pavelski (225) were under 250 shots on the season.
Generally the elite scorers shoot a lot. When Daniel and Kesler scored 41 goals a piece in 2010 they had 266 and 260 shots.

So sad to see that we had 2 41 goal scorers that year and I don't know when if ever we will see that again.

The nucks are like the Habs. If there goalie keep going, there is no reason why they should slow down.

Average team beside the goalie.

- soad_live

Spot on, We are over achieving. And it pisses me off because this old core needs to go, but if we keep this up it will be one more stanley cup we didnt win and another high draft pick.
