Yeah I think the Canucks have more skill up front and a stronger overall d core but the Habs have price who is typically better than miller. Habs youth is much further along than the canucks tho ....put the Habs in the west and they probably don't make the playoffs but the Canucks in the east do

I do think WD needs to get Lack more games as he needs the game action experience and Miller will need the relief if he is to be the go to guy if we actually make the playoffs.

Thats what happens when you think first rounders are for a redraft. Didnt know that we'd be coming into this year with the same rosters when I traded away all my talent O well, I screwed up. Totally thought I was going to have Nuckers lineup going into this season.

I am all for tdl deals of ufa's that won't be resigned.

Unless some trades are made before hand to shore up the defense, making the playoffs is great but I don't see a Stanley Cup in this team's future as it sits now.

Tanking to get McDavid is a wonderful idea if it is realistic, but this team isn't that bad (I know, I didn't see McDavid mentioned, but he is the golden goose). It looks like Horvat and Virtanen will be our highest picks since the Sedins for the next while.

Just like someone was mentioning re the Sharks can't afford to trade superstars and lose fanbase, the Canucks after one season without playoffs have to work on selling tickets to fans who want to go see games that the Canucks can win.

In the pole, I still voted wild card team. Still wouldn't mind if we missed the playoffs and got a better pick, but believe we will be in the playoff hunt right to the end of the season.
