There's 15 million people in the greater LA area - although I don't believe any of that garbage about him.

I have 2 and a half hours to kill, I'm looking to trade to kill the boredom. Blockbuster or minor, don't care.

Seems like a lot of smoke for there not to be any fire.

I think Kesler did take less money, I bet Philly would have thrown 6M per as him as a UFA. I don't mind a player taking advantage of a NTC they they bargained for, it just pisses me off when they do it like KeslerLuongo did. They both demanded a trade and also narrowed it down to 1-3 teams(depending on which insider you trust, I believe 1 or 2 said it was basically only ANA Kesler wanted and Lu only wanted FLA).

At least give 5 or 6 teams if you want out.

- Nucker101

Yep. No problem with Burrows refusing to waive, Garrison using his NTC to narrow down the list of teams. He was the offended party and absolutely reserved the right to stick to his guns. If you are the one who wants out don't screw the people who are trying to get you out ffs

I have a friend who works at the Canuck store and I asked her if any of her coworkers had slept with him. Emphatic and disgusted yes

Yep. I think we give hockey players too much credit sometimes. They are rich, successful, and in many cases famous. I don't hold them to any higher standard than Tiger Woods, Arnold Schwartzenegger, the list goes on. It's like that South Park episode

Just got home from work( bankers hours) and read some of the comments on the last blog.

I would like to see more of what Mathias , Dorsett, Sbisa, Stanton ,and Richardson can do and re-sign them when they hit RFA. I think a fourth line of 27 15 51 would give us one of the better 4 th lines in the league , if they continue to out muscle and score. They are no a liability by any means IMO.

Third line is a mystery .
Kassian is a decent corner piece and I like Vey there. Hopefully Bo can slip into the middle. A better third line would be Higgins Bo and Kassian.

Our first line is fine with the twins and Vrbata and Bones is doing a fine job at 2C . That leaves the two wingers that can be changed.

As it stands now the second line is doing fine for now, but that is where an upgrade is needed.

- VANTEL

Pretty much bang on. I'm liking Vey in the third line role (if that's how it stays) and I also think Bo and Kassian might find some chemistry if it ever came to pass.

I've always liked Higgins but he is made to look like a second liner because of Bonino. Burrows is kind of all over the place. He could be 1st, 2nd, or third line depending but you are right we have room to maneuver on the second line with winger changes. The addition of a big right hand shot 20-25 goal guy with Bonino would be great.

But like you said if Bo is only gonna get 5-7 min then the writing may be on the wall which would be a total waste. This team needs an infection of youth challenging for spots in the WORST way. It can be a great thing to have in the room too. Which is why Matthias has picked up his game too...he knows that a spot is lurking for Bo so it has been great to see Matthias pick up his game.

Not only do we need a winger to play with Bonino we need another top 4-5 Dman badly IMO. If we somehow get those two pieces with maybe some shrewd GM'ing by JB then I think we will be close to a lock for 6-7-8 spots. Without Horvat and/or another top winger or Dman I feel we are relegated to really struggling for the 7-8 spot and will most likely be in the 9-10 slot in the conference but one never knows.

If I have to watch Hansen lose every puck battle, miss all breakaways, back off on hits/forechecks, fall down 12 times/game while Kassian/Vey/Burrows get no shot on the first line while Vrbata is out I'm gonna snap.

Perhaps, but I'm not into gossip, that's for women, he's an bumhole but a good player when he wants to be, I'll leave it at that.

Not a great distributor, but he can win draws and check opposing centers better than most. He played really well last night...that said...I'm happy with the trade as I really like Bonino and his game!!

All this love for Kesler today made me sick. The guy is a dirt bag and will eventually screw the Ducks . They can keep him. We won that trade by a mile.
- VANTEL

Yup. While I appreciate what Kes did in his good years in Van he is a douchebag.

We are so much better off with him gone.

That's a pretty good offer Vantel, before I read it I sent an offer to Bieksa's female doges, I'll wait and see what he says.
