In my drunken state, I can still say mase had no chance on either of those.
Is that accurate? |

OK. The last shift of the Umberger-VLC-Akeson line.
Seriously. How in the (frank) does each member of the line lose a puck battle on the wall and then a 50-50 puck -- which means you're deep in the offensive zone -- then less than 5 seconds later, you give up a 10-bell chance?

I don't recommend drinking after only having a bowl of cereal and a couple poptarts all day, as I'm finding out it hits you a lot harder |

Not really. Double deflection on one, nobody covering down low on the second.
Flyers really sloppy, piss poor execution. |

Vinny getting bounced off the puck like he's the one who's 5'10 190 instead of Arty. |

I'm at a loss for words with Read.
He has to be leading the team in unforced turnovers. |

I almost want to go back to that shift and see if I truly saw what I saw. I can't even believe what I just saw. |

He's been one of my absolute favs over the past fews years but at this point he needs to sit out and get himself sorted.
Honestly he is probably the worst guy on the ice thus far this year. |

Damn near everything about that period was ridiculous -- I don't understand pro athletes. Never have.
You've got a tough game in Montreal tomorrow. You're playing a team decimated by injury. You're at home. You have had five days off.
How do you play like that? How? |

The Flyers are a reactionary team. They seem to perform best after flubs like these and the recent Florida trip. You can change the coaches and the players but it always seems to be the same old same old. |

The Jackets were all over them, and they were sloppy in their execution. You pass like the Flyers have so far and you're going to get destroyed |

I don't understand that. I just don't understand that.
What do you practice, then? I'm sitting here flat-out amazed at how poor the passing was -- what are you doing for all that time?
